What Makes a Hairline Look Natural?
Irregularity: Natural hairlines are not straight. They have a slightly irregular edge with hair pointing in different directions. A perfectly straight hairline looks artificial.
Gradual transition (feathered edge): Single, fine hairs at the very front that gradually become denser further back. Abrupt density changes look transplanted.
Temporal angle: The hairline at the temples has a specific recessed geometry. Placing the hairline too far forward or squarely at the temples looks artificial.
Appropriate position for age: A hairline positioned too low for the patient's age looks odd and depletes donor supply needed for future loss.
