Who Is a Candidate for Hairline Lowering?

Post-surgical or post-radiotherapy hairline elevation: Procedures or treatments that have elevated the hairline.
Desire for greater facial proportion: The ideal facial proportion has the forehead occupying approximately one third of the total facial height (from hairline to chin). A disproportionately large forehead may be reduced by transplanting hair into the upper forehead area.
The ideal candidate has good donor density, realistic expectations, and no active hair loss progressing in the area.
How Much Can the Hairline Be Lowered?
Typically 1–3 cm depending on the anatomy and how far back the existing hairline is. The transplanted zone creates a new, lower frontal hairline with appropriate feathering and irregularity for a natural result.

DHI Without Shaving
For women who do not want to shave their existing hair, DHI can be performed without shaving the recipient area — inserting grafts between existing hairs. This is the preferred technique for hairline lowering in women who need to return to work or social life quickly.
Recovery
Recovery is the same as standard FUE transplant. The existing hair covers the recipient area, making the post-procedure phase less visible than for scalp hair transplant in male pattern baldness.
